About Us
A multi-component ministry with over 90 employees and an operational budget of over $6 million.
Harbour Light’s approach to Spiritual Ministry is to sensitively share the love of God in a practical caring way – mindful that the majority of clients have minimal or no faith experience and/or often disclose confusion and fear regarding what is perceived as “religion.” Every effort is made to demonstrate our faith in word and deed – allowing individuals to experience a Christian environment and lifestyle that enables them to gradually respond to the light of God’s love and healing power.
The Salvation Army Harbour Harbour Light saves lives and has
helped thousands help themselves through a Continuum of Care model that
facilitates the needs of the individual and the community.
We've been serving Vancouver's Downtown Eastside Community for over 55 years
with the primary goal of reaching out to hurting people and helping them
become productive, contributing citizens.
